ABOUT THE SERIES

Join us for Southern California’s most anticipated adventure series on Sunday’s this fall. In collaboration with Lost Cyclery, Eliel Cycling, Latigo Coffee and The Lost Abbey, the second season of #DirtChurch will bring more dirt, multiple route options, free coffee and new host venues.

THE ROUTES

Two gravel routes will be planned, be sure to Register via the link below for GPS routes and other key details. At least one water stop will be marked on each Ride With GPS route.

LOCATION

The 9/22 ride will start and end at The Confessional in Cardiff by the Sea. Please use legal street parking in the vicinity.

SCHEDULE

Coffee will be available at 8:00AM. The two groups will depart together at 8:30AM followed by a split of the two groups at the appropriate checkpoint location. We anticipate arriving back at the brewery after 12PM Noon.

THE EQUIPMENT

With a diversity of road and dirt surfaces the optimal bike for the #dirtchurch Preview is a gravel or cross bike with tires at least 35mm in width. Tubeless tires are highly recommended. Please ride completely self sufficient with a hand pump, CO2 cartridges, extra tubes and other appropriate trailside repair gear.

SELF-SUPPORTED

This is a self-supported ride, with no SAG wagon or aid stations. Routes are not marked and you are 100% responsible for yourself, your mechanicals, your food/water resupplies, and your retrieval off route (in case of emergency).
