Bivo Launches Stainless Steel Bike Bottle
New company Bivo is launching a new stainless steel cycling water bottle, the Bivo One. Concerned about flow rate? The team says that they have designed the bottle to still deliver sufficient flow when grabbing one-handed, by optimizing flow rate with design help from an ex-NASA engineer. Stainless steel bottles have surged in popularity in recent years for being more environmentally friendly than plastic, while also offering mold-resistant properties. An exterior silicone coating helps with grip and should minimize rattling while riding over the rough stuff.
The Bivo One, named for the bottle's "b" shaped valve, will be available for pre-sale on August 13th in four colorways: orange, yellow, teal, and black. They're expected to ship shortly after 8/21.
