Larissa Connors’ 2020 Juliana Quincy
Larissa Connors is back after the birth of her first child this past August. The full-time teacher has won every 100-mile event she has ever raced, with her biggest wins at Leadville (twice) and the BWR (twice). For the 2020 season, Larissa has joined the Voler Factory Gravel Team, a squad of three women with plans of tackling the toughest gravel races around the country. We look forward to seeing an impressive comeback year for Larissa as she is set to compete in a few big events including the LeadBoat Challenge, where top endurance athletes will race the Leadville Trail 100 MTB followed by SBT GRVL Black on the same weekend.
Larissa will be racing on the 2020 Juliana Quincy carbon gravel bike, equipped with a Shimano GRX Di2 drivetrain, Praxis cranks, and an e*thirteen 9-39 cassette. Unique to this build is a custom 3D printed Di2 junction box mount that has replaced an access port near the bottom bracket. Her husband Brendan (an engineer) created the custom plug to clean up the cockpit and allow room for two Wolf Tooth EnCase bar end plugs.
