Long time OE manufacturer TranzX will now offer dropper posts direct-to-consumer at prices starting as low as $99, made possible through a partnership with US-based, Dialed Distribution.

Among the available products includes the Hot Lap Dropper Post, a lightweight and short travel dropper designed for gravel, with sizing available in 27.2, 30.9, and 31.6mm diameters. The 50mm of drop could be just enough for more technical terrain without adding the weight of long travel droppers.

To activate the drop, TranzX is also offering the all-new Hot Lap dropper lever, specifically designed for drop handlebars. Designed to fit on the inside of the bar just under the brake hood with a double sided see-saw like thumb lever that is operable from both the hoods and the drops. The Hot Lap lever should also be compatible with cable-actuated droppers from other brands.

The Hot Lap combo is available for $158 to customers in the US, Canada and Mexico.
