Hunt of the North - A GRAVELSTOKE ADVENTURE

The Hunt of the North returns on June 9, 2019, our most popular adventure that combines our favorite elements of gravel cycling into one memorable experience. Exploration, navigation, camaraderie and some of the best terrain San Diego has to offer. A gravel hunt that takes participants to 5 predetermined locations on dirt throughout the North.

Registration will open on Tuesday April 9, 2019, and we expect entries to go quickly as we will have a limited field of riders. Months of preparations have brought us to our second round for the Hunt, and this year we are taking things to a whole new level!

Riders will be challenged to gather all five pieces of uniquely colored gravel, one at each predetermined checkpoint. Locations will be revealed just 24 hours in advance of the event. Hunters are encouraged to go in teams of two or more and take the route of their choosing to collect all five pieces of gravel and be rewarded with a coveted raffle ticket.

Categories: New for this year we have 3 categories for riders to choose from including Endurance, Cross and Road Plus.

Evening June 8: We will be gathering the evening of June 8 at Rouleur Brewing for packet pick-up. Come hang out with other participants, our sponsors and partner brands.

Morning June 9: There will be coffee available starting at 6:30 AM on the day of the event. Riders will roll out in waves beginning at 8AM.

Post-Ride Festivities: Riders must return to Canyon by 12:30PM to be eligible to receive their raffle tickets. At our Gravel Expo and outdoor beer garden, riders will enjoy tacos and Rouleur beer, included with every entry (21 and over)! We'll also be holding the world famous Hunt of the North Raffle with some amazing prizes!
