We had so much fun in Poway last year that we had to do it again! Join the Gravelstoke community on a drop-bar adventure ride on Saturday, Feb 17 with an epic course through the hills, forests, and streams of Poway, CA. Paulson’s Poway Party Ride celebrates our good friend Jeff on his latest lap around the sun.
Ride start time will be 8:00 AM in the Knotty Barrel parking lot. Plan for a 4-5 hour ride that covers a good variety of terrain. Steep climbs and some water crossings are expected. Ride ends at Knotty Barrel where we will have lunch, share stories, and wish Jeff a good one!
The 2024 PPR is supported by JoJe Bar, Lost Cyclery, and Big Wheel Coaching.
2024 Course
There are a few minor changes made from last year’s route. Given the significant rains we have received already this year, we are still planning on checking a few key water crossings ahead of the ride to ensure everyone’s safe passage. If any changes occur we will update the route here. We have included resupply in Old Town Poway at Midland and Adrian St to enjoy the park and take in the Farmer’s Market that features live music and freshly-prepared food.
Snag a PPR Tee while supplies last, featuring our in-house design on a Tan Tri-blend.
Extra Credit 50 Mile Option
Looking for a little extra challenge? Here is a 50-mile option that includes a short bonus loop into the Lake Hodges trail system. At mile 31.5 cross over the pedestrian bridge and grab some premium hero dirt before continuing on.
We just arrived in Rodeo, New Mexico for the inaugural Chiricahua Gravel experience with The Cycling House!
