Cannondale Introduces Topstone
Wilton, Conn.– August 24, 2018 – Cannondale, today unveiled Topstone. Named after their favorite dirt road section near Cannondale’s global headquarters in CT, Topstone looks to be a capable alloy gravel bike in an affordable package.
Cannondale has introduced the Topstone with their SmartForm C2 Alloy frame, offering clearance for 700c tires up to 42mm wide. A full carbon fork with a tapered steerer and a 12mm thru-axle round out the bikes front end, while disc brakes on all models ensure consistent control in all conditions.
The Topstone features endurance geometry, with similar stack and reach measurements to Cannondale’s Synapse. It also has the "OutFront" Geometry, which pairs a slack head angle with a 55mm fork offset, that the company claims to deliver a confidence-inspiring combination of high-speed stability and quick-handling agility.
With internal cable routing for a dropper seatpost, mounts for top tube storage, and multiple mounts for carrying three bottles or large frame bags, the all-new Topstone brings several of the latest features a rider may want for adventure.
The new Topstone line-up will feature three models, SRAM APEX 1 equipped with a dropper post with 55mm of travel, Shimano 105 and Shimano Sora, in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL.
