Forgotten Roads is a 3 part series by Safa Brian and Alex Colorito. In each episode the two document a gravel ride in different parts of Southern California. They do this self-supported, carrying all their film gear, in the hopes of inspiring others to explore the world by bike. For the first episode they travel to Big Sur and tackle some seriously steep gradients in search of a Ridge Road that has been closed to cars since a storm hit a year ago.

Hosting nearly 10,000 athletes and over 70,000 fans, the Laguna Seca Raceway becomes the focus of brands and consumers alike. In making the trip north from San Diego I wanted to take advantage of all there was to explore on my way to the event. The plan was set to camp at two spots, with a good measure of gravel exploration mixed in.
