After much anticipation we are stoked to announce our first official collaboration ride with our friends from Thank Gravel It’s Friday! The crew from @TGIF has been throwing down some proper G’ parties for a few years now, and pulling off a collab ride has been in the works for quite some time.
Featured Groad: The Harding Truck Trail is a challenging 9-mile climb that gains a little over 3,000 feet with an average grade of 6.3%. Enjoy great views of the surrounding area and perfect conditions this time of year.
Venue: Laguna Beer Co RSM
Roll out at 7AM
Ride start time will be 7:00 AM from the Laguna Beer Company in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Plan for a 4-5 hour ride that covers a good variety of terrain. Steep climbs, loose chunk, exposed terrain, and little shade are expected. Plan to bring at least 2 large water bottles for this ride as we won’t see a resupply until mile 31. Three bottles or a hydration pack are recommended. Regroup at mile 20 at the top of “Four Corners”, descend down and regroup again at the general store in Silverado Canyon. Ride ends at LBC where we will share stories and toast to a great day in the mountains!
