Recently we recalled a few good ones from the past, along with some recent videos with lower view counts that we wanted to share. 5. Surfing Fuerte with Rondo

A friend recently told us how cool it would be to make a gravel + surfing video. Well, it already exists! Sort of… in this video Sami hits the sand on her Rondo Ruut ST when a Timbertek surfboard suddenly appears by her side. And while it would have been cooler if the board was attached to her bike with a custom fork and frame mount, we’ll take it.

4. Hunt 4 with Deux North

The video that endeared us to the Specialized Diverge when it was first launched, Hunt 4 was released before gravel was gravel. The Nord boys surf the earth with 6 other riders while paying a visit to Miguel Crawford (Grasshopper Adventure Series) in Northern CA. This is a fantastic short film that does a better job than most in capturing the essence of riding gravel.

3. Gravel Gets Tougher with WTB

This recent video by WTB went along with the launch of their new SG2 tire casing. In an interesting move they managed to say nothing about the tires, but let the skills and slip-ons of Barry Wicks do the talking.

2. Hunt of the North with Gravelstoke

With just 2K views on YouTube chances are you haven’t seen this yet. A video project we worked on with videographer DataLaForge, capturing the culture of North County gravel.

This unrated thriller follows four helmetless rapscallions through the darkest of places. Where are they going, what’s in Benedict’s basket, and what really happened in the woods? We’ll have to wait for Chapter Two to find out.
